Publication Frequency
Geliotekhnika is published quarterly, with four issues per year. Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year and are published only after successfully completing initial editorial screening, independent peer review, revision by the authors and final acceptance.
Publication Languages
The journal accepts and publishes manuscripts in Uzbek, Russian and English.
Open Access Policy
Geliotekhnika is a fully and immediately open-access scientific journal. All published articles are made freely and permanently available immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration or other access restrictions.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International — CC BY 4.0 licence. This licence permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, cite, adapt and reuse the material, provided that the original authors and the initial source of publication are properly acknowledged.
Authors retain copyright in their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The journal does not apply an embargo period, and published content remains permanently available on the journal’s official website.
Peer Review Process
Geliotekhnika applies a double-anonymous peer-review system. Under this system, the identities of the authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the peer-review process.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial editorial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who possess relevant scientific expertise and have no conflicts of interest relating to the manuscript.
Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, scientific novelty and significance, methodological quality, reliability of the results, clarity of presentation, compliance with ethical requirements, and contribution to the aims and scientific scope of the journal.
The final decision to accept, request revision or reject a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief on the basis of the reviewers’ recommendations, the authors’ responses and the revised manuscript. Detailed requirements are provided in the journal’s Peer Review Policy.
